It can be converted to a hand-propelled profilograph in less than two minutes at the job site and put to work as quickly as the pavement will accept 30 lb. wheel loads. The New Despatch LLB Oven

 

The Despatch LLB features fast heat-up rates and precise, easy-to-read, digital controls. Powerful heating elements bring the oven to temperature very quickly, resulting in fast test results and improved HMA quality. Digital controls deliver precise temperatures, and a large easy-to-read, 3/4" LED panel makes it easy to monitor oven operations.

The LLB operates at temperatures up to 400°F (204°C). Forced convection airflow ensures uniform temperatures throughout the oven and compliance with AASHTO requirements for +/-3° at 150°C.

The LLB is very reliable and easy to clean. The fan and motor are located above the oven chamber to prevent damage if materials are spilled. Solvents can be sued to clean up spills without damaging the stainless steel interior.
